New Technyl® compounding unit in Mexico is raising from the ground
To answer the rapidly North American growing needs, Solvay recently decided to build a new compounding unit in San Luis Potosí (Mexico). This investment for a modular 10KT unit’s capacity is made in partnership with Chunil Engineering, a global automotive tier 1, already established in Mexico. Many of the world’s top automotive OEMs are located in the region, and Mexico is the second largest producer of automotive and commercial vehicles in the Americas.
Our ambition is to support the regional and North American customer business, providing them with high performance Technyl® polyamide compounds and innovative solutions for cleaner mobility. In addition, many consumer goods and electrical equipment players are located close by, offering new opportunities for Solvay.
