Sinterline® to unveil 3D printing innovations at Formnext 2019
The Sinterline® team is coming to Formnext 2019 to demonstrate their latest advances in PA6 powders for selective laser sintering (SLS) and the newly-launched integrated service offering for 3D printed parts.
Formnext is the leading annual trade fair in Europe for additive manufacturing (AM) and the next generation of intelligent manufacturing solutions. The focus at Formnext 2019 will be on the efficient realization of products and components, from design through to mass production. Visitors to Formnext 2019 can look forward to experiencing the future of industrial production and see firsthand the key role Sinterline®’s offering plays in the AM space.
The Sinterline® team will showcase the latest enhancements in its PA6 powders for selective laser sintering (SLS), with ease to print PA6 glass filled powder achieving high mechanical performances.
The team will also introduce their brand-new advanced services offering for 3D printed parts: HUB by Sinterline®. This integrated suite includes predictive simulation, parts production and parts testing, focusing on printed parts performance validation.
From prototype to production
With continual improvements in technology, the market for 3D printers adapted to high-temperature polymers is growing fast. To realize the full potential of additive manufacturing and move the industry from prototyping to serial production, Sinterline® offers solutions to deliver real functional prototypes that close the gap with injection molding. As a pioneer in PA6 SLS powders, Sinterline powders strengthen the functional prototyping proposition by pushing the performance of 3D printed parts to a new level.
An important complement to the offering is HUB by Sinterline®, developed to give a boost to product innovation in fast-changing markets. This suite of interconnected services is designed to push parts performance beyond existing boundaries and stay ahead of the market in dynamic sectors like automotive, consumer electronics, heating and cooling and more.
HUB by Sinterline® connects customers seamlessly to the entire Sinterline® development offering, supporting them throughout the journey, from design and material selection through parts testing. It brings together MMI® Technyl® Design’s advanced predictive simulation tool, together with fast and functional prototyping in Sinterline® 3D-printing services, and flexible parts testing with APT® application performance testing – all with dedicated expertise to support innovation and speed time-to-market.
